The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim LordBound is a "DLC-Sized" Mod. which adds a new region, three factions, and questlines, non-linear quests, dungeons as well as a new weapons/armor and magic.
Developed by a large international team consisting of aspirants and professional game developers as well as veteran Skyrim modders. With a team built around a Game Development model in which different members cover different disciplines, along with including regular scrums meetings and iterative development of internally proposed features. The Mod takes place in the Druadach Valley, which after centuries of isolation, has been re-entered by the forces of the imperials seeking to exact control over it. The war wages on between the imperials and the Orcs of Garshakur who refuse to surrender. The outbreak of the conflict has forced residents to seek hiding in the few walled cities of the valley. |

Responsibilities and Assignments
As a Game Designer, I am part of what we call Core Team, who are responsible for designing new magic systems that seamlessly layers on top of the original game. We also take on requests for crafting unique quest rewards. Augment parts of the original game that appeared to us to be underdeveloped. We also work to balance the new additions with the design rules set out by the original game.
- Design, Prototype and implement unique, Equipment, Items and Magic.
- Balance the new additions in relation to the original game as well as the new region the mod introduces.
- Write and maintain spec documentation for the mentioned above.
Using the creation engine's powerful editor tools allows for great freedom creating new spells and features. However, any limitations encountered can often be circumvented by writing custom logic using the Papyrus scripting language. Throughout my involvement, I have taken to work on the features that require complicated implementations by regularly using this scripting langue.
